The Miata MX-5 has always been an over looked hidden gem in the car world. Never trying to be a more than it is, a bit bland visually , reliable, and nice little convertible fun car. This latest version however, has turned things up several notches.
Now it looks like a proper sports car and a pedigree to match! Good job Mazda!

Agile Audi
Audi has such a storied automotive history, it's a shame most of it isn't widely known state side. It wasn't until Audi became a popular alternative to BMW that the brand became common place in the USA. Shame since it's pedigree, particularly it's Quattro racing cars, are amazing!

Bad Beemer
As the Isetta rides off into the sunset I say good bye to time well spent. There is something to be said about this classic anomaly of a car. It has more character than most of BMWs latest offerings and charm to boot IMO. Good bye little buddy, it's been a blast!

Rally Racing
In this battle of Ford Escort RS1800 vs Mini Cooper, it's a battle of David vs Goliath!
Cooper with it's light weight agility and Ford with it's brawn.
Such an epic battle the hot air balloons had to be deployed to spectate 💪
Seeing these retro cars do battle is incredible and I hope to one day do it in real life! 🏎

Lancia Launch
There is something to be said about cars from the late 70s to early 90s that is beautiful. Lancia also made some true classics like the Delta here. Especially when offroad or flying after a jump over a hill haha.
Also this Martini Racing Livery just just brought it all together!

Brutal Beemer
There is just something about these track cars that is larger than Life. But sleep at the wheel and it might just take it too. Speed, precision, and power, hallmarks of a Beemer, or a missile.

Sometimes even in games there are horrible drivers, it's on you to be vigilant and avoid accidents. Such as the Vette behind me who wanted to race me and I caught him just a second before his impulses landed him in a difficult situation 😂😂. Leave the racing to video games or official events my friends!

Company Car
Lately I have been messing around with different mediums and styles for the paint job on my cars. The latest one is on this Lamborghini. The underlying layer is Damascus steel (that's why you see the swirls), large to small dot patter , and cotton candy color Honeycombs. Not bad and it certainly looks odd moving around but it's different and everyone has to look.
Now to get a real life version of this car and paint job ✌😅

Copter Chase
The intro to Forza Horizon 3 is just a blast! Chasing a helicopter through the mud and in the air is a lot of fun and a great way to introduce players to this world.
Plus it allowed me to take some cool pictures I captured! I forgot the name of this off-road buggy but I need to use it for off road races more. Go out there and fill your need for speed (in game).

Fairly Furious
During one Bucket List challenge i was handed the reigns of this 350Z (Fairlady in Japan) and just had a blast. Still to this day I want one, just because of how different it looks from lots of other cars. Not to mention it already has a wider body so deep dish rims fit beautifully. Playing around with depth, shutterspeed, and aperture really helped to give the 2017 the look of speed it deserves. Almost looks like it's about to vanish into the future. It is going faster than 88 Mph after all.

As I was getting acquainted with the camera controls and how I can make them work for me I snapped this during the very first race in the game. Working with the shutter speeds, exposure, angle, focus and more I can now capture beautiful scenes from these beautiful machines. And it all started with this picture.

I purchased a BMW Isetta 300 in Forza and have been having a ball! There is just something about making this tiny classic do things it shouldn't! Plus it's just so beautiful I couldn't pass it up.

Had a chance to give the Porsche 918 Spyder a proper thrashing. I have to say, this vehicle is a beast and can take anything you give and give it right back. Other Porches may be bullets but this, this is a laser beam!

Prying President
So with all the talk about the bill passing that allows your ISP to sell you data it got me in the mood to play Watchdogs 😂.
It's an interesting take on what could be. I happened across this statue of the President when I caught him creeping on my main character lol! So I found it fitting of what's going on and captured it.
I enjoy messing around with perspective, both socially and artistically. In any other angle the statue of Abraham Lincoln would be looking at the ground. From MY angle he has a bit more character, like he is sneaking a peek at the characters phone

During my escapades around Chicago I had to take a moment to look back and see how advanced we have become in our portrayals of real locations.
Ever developer has their own limits , boundaries, and sense of scope and seeing what Ubisoft did with this was pretty interesting. Allowing the little camera hacking sequences helped add to the depth of the world and did its best to make it feel real while not having to fully render interiors. Very smart with its use of world building.

A hobby of mine in open world games is finding those little touches that level artists must add so their world feels real.
It's a fine line that must be balanced between Realism and and matching the game world.
I must also not be forced or it can come off feeling fake. But if done with gameplay in mind it can add so much to the design that players won't even notice.
Good design is invisible to your audience.

Elven Elegance
During my questing in Dragon Age Inquisition I have spent a lot of time looking at the different characters. This is my Rogue Elf Penelope. The look on her face is because the game has finally been completed 😂😂😂
When it comes to pure artistic anatomy there is something beautiful about elves. Slender, thin, and subtle elven features. This makes them great archers while being weaker in up close warfare. Character design in this game series is spot on and very balanced. Good work Bioware. Even if some of the female armors are a tad questionable 😂 cuz no one believes the guy who ALSO likes the stats on an armor 😎
